Artist's Choice™ Bamboo Timpani Mallets feature high-quality, hand-lathed, bamboo handles.
A strict quality-control process assures that only straight, premium bamboo shafts are chosen from each batch of bamboo. The "hand-select" shafts are then custom-lathed and finished using an exclusive 10-step process. This process provides a unique moisture seal which results in a superior, smooth feel. Our custom-finish further prevents the bamboo from drying out which deters warping and splitting, and increases the overall life of the shaft.
Finally, the shafts are hand-paired to insure proper balance and consistent diameters. Quality German & American wool felts (see model descriptions below) are hand-sewn over wooden cores to provide a full tone with minimal contact sound.

Choice™ Bamboo Bass Drum Mallets
feature the same high quality,
hand-lathed, bamboo handles as our Bamboo Timpani Mallets (see above). Unlike
other bass drum handles, our lighter bamboo shafts provide greater leverage
for the player, resulting in a more focused sonority and enhanced "bottom
end." Meticulously sewn German felts, combined with the highest quality
Asian bamboo shafts, are sure to make this new bass drum mallet the professional's
choice! Our traditional Maple Bass Drum Mallets feature an elliptical weighted head, sewn with the finest German felt. An extra long New England Maple shaft provides a solid feel with exceptional balance. These mallets are durable and produce a round, focused bass drum sonority.

for the active percussionist, the Malletpak is equipped with an adjustable
shoulder strap and carry handle for easy transport. Made of water resistant,
tear-proof cordura, it is padded to protect your expensive mallets. A
large exterior zippered pocket will hold triangles, clips, and castanets.
